The International House of Prayer-Springfield is a mission base that consists of passionate followers of Christ pursuing spiritual change in the atmosphere of our city, state, nation and world through worship, fasting, prayer and outreach. We come from various churches and desire unity among believers. We represent all generations and stand up for generations yet to come. We believe that the Lord has planted us a few blocks from the state capitol and the governor's mansion in order to pray for those in authority and to contend for righteousness and justice to be restored to our land.

We are modeled in the Spirit of the Tabernacle of David with singers, musicians and intercessors leading corporate intercession and worship continuously. We are living in a day and time when God is awakening the hearts of His people with this very question. We are being challenged to lay worthless things aside, to join Him in partnering with the Great Commission to declare His beauty day and night. God is raising up those who know the hour and are willing to help prepare this region for the great revival and simultaneous disruption. We hear the alarm going forth from Zion and respond with hearts full of love and faith for the Son of Man.
